Jes-M is an eco-friendly product line, exclusively from Tilt. The Jes-M product series is complete from home to life goods and each product can either be reused, repurposed or completely recycled. As a company with a strong design background, developing Jes-M enabled a 3-D outlet for our talent. At the present moment, we are still searching and creating. Like any new brand we are constantly evolving trying to find our signature style. Joining the 5 core values of Tilt, Jes-M retains a concrete history of success: community, sustainability, knowledge, innovation and earth.
The designs are based on co-owner and artist’s Jessica M. Pegorsch work, known for her organic shapes based on nature and relationships. Pegorsch’s style of fluidity and motion mixed with an astute connection to the earth form a single message. Her background in education has helped to form the basis for our giving and the foundation of our brand.
Building community into the daily repertoire, 20% of our annual net proceeds goes to helping children to better their understanding of the environment as it applies to daily life. Check out more information on our Project Seed page. Additional giving includes: 1% of the planet foundation, 5% to local schools and charities and 4% towards an international activity or effort. It is important to the success of our business that each of us to give back and continue connecting with the “Glocal” community (Global and Local put together, isn’t that cute?), constantly improving on the planet.
Buy Jes-M: It is the first step of awareness for individuals wanting to start making decisions on behalf of the earth. We, as a company, are making choices that will affect all of our future. Jes-M products are innovative and designed to improve your life; developing new ways of living and thinking.
If you want to know more on Tilt…
Tilt is a design firm stressing the importance of change through visuals and action. Located in North Baltimore City (still in the city limits, though) in a little community called Charles Village, Tilt has a row house dedicated to creative ideas and constant change. As a young group, we have the ability to constantly grow and change, being incredibly agile and mobile. Started in 1998 by E. Rachael Baird, Tilt, has always housed a sustainability initiative. In 2007, joined by educator and artist Pegorsch, Tilt took on new legs, spreading to house a product line (Jes-M), a gallery and a foundation. Now, moving into the 3rd year of business, we are growing into our skin and really focusing more on building relationships than ever before. Our ideas take us far, but in the end, however, we are married to design and sustainability as our primary operation.
